Quebec’s Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration (MIFI) has conducted a new draw. This was the second invitation round of September, conducted by the department for candidates under the Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP).

If you have been invited in the Quebec latest RSWP draw, you will receive a communication in your Arrima message centre with the information required to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR). Quebec RSWP Draws - How do they work?

Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) draws are part of Quebec’s unique immigration system, which operates separately from Canada's federal programs. The RSWP allows Quebec to select skilled workers who can meet the specific labour market needs of the province and contribute to its economy.

Through these draws, Quebec invites candidates who have expressed interest in immigrating to the province by submitting a profile in the Arrima portal. The Arrima system manages applications for the RSWP, and candidates are selected based on factors like education, work experience, language proficiency (in French), and ties to Quebec.

Unlike other Canadian provinces, Quebec has more control over its immigration system, and RSWP draws are designed to select individuals who can integrate successfully into the province's society and economy. During each draw, candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and who score highly on the selection grid receive an invitation to apply for a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ), which is necessary for permanent residence.

Once a candidate receives a CSQ, they can apply for permanent residency through the federal government. The Quebec RSWP draws offer an important opportunity for skilled workers, especially those proficient in French, to immigrate to Quebec and benefit from its diverse and growing economy.
