Quebec has invited 1,009 immigration candidates to apply for provincial nomination in the most recent draw, held on September 15. For this draw, a minimum score of 563 on the Expression of Interest form was required. Apart from meeting the above mentioned points criteria, invitations were sent to candidates who held a valid job offer outside the territory of the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal and to applicants with occupation mentioned in the following list of the National Occupational Classification (NOC):
The new draw is the eleventh to take place in 2022. Since the start of the year, Quebec has constantly held draws, and as of today, 4,852 applicants have received invitations to apply in 2022 for a permanent selection by the province of Quebec.
Candidates who registered online for the Quebec Arrima Portal's Regular Quebec Skilled Workers Program and submitted an Expression of Interest received an invitation. Candidates who submit an expression of interest and are accepted are given a Quebec Selection Certificate (QCS), which they can use to apply to the federal government for permanent residency in Canada.
The invitations to Quebec RSWP latest draw are sent according to one or more criteria as mentioned below:
1. Criteria related to human capital
2. Criteria related to the needs of the labour market in Québec and government priorities
3. Criteria related to the spouse or de facto spouse (if applicable):
4. Other criteria
