Quebec RSWP latest draw invites 1,528 candidates to apply for PR

Quebec’s Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration (MIFI) has conducted a new draw.

This was the third Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) draw of the month. If you are invited in this Quebec RSWP latest draw, you will receive a communication in your Arrima message centre with the information needed to submit a complete application for permanent residence.

Quebec RSWP Latest Draw - Results

The Quebec RSWP latest draw was held on June 27, 2024. A total of 1,528 candidates from the Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) were invited. The date and time of extraction from the Arrima bank was June 25, 2024, at 6:25 a.m.

Invitations were issued to candidates that met the following criteria:

  • They had a level 7 oral proficiency (or higher) in French according to the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français or its equivalent.
  • They had a score equal to or greater than 581 points.

They were also issued to candidates meeting the following criteria:

  • They had a level 7 oral proficiency (or higher) in French according to the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français or its equivalent.
  • They had a valid job offer outside the territory of the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal.

A total of 12 Quebec RSWP draws have been conducted so far in 2024. In 2023, Quebec conducted 16 RSWP draws and invited a total of 17,408 candidates to apply for permanent residence. This Quebec RSWP latest draw is a continuation of the province issuing high invites with low scores.

Who is eligible for Quebec RSWP draws?

The Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) was established for foreign skilled workers who wish to immigrate to Quebec permanently. To be eligible, candidates must first declare their interest in immigrating to Quebec to work. If their profile matches the criteria needed in Quebec, they will be invited to apply for permanent residence.

To be among the selected candidates in a Quebec RSWP draw, you must have training and professional skills that will facilitate your job integration in Quebec. Other factors in the Quebec RSWP points grid are also considered. Points are assigned based on factors including:

  • Age
  • Language Proficiency
  • Education
  • Work Experience
  • Valid Job Offer
  • Connection to Quebec
  • Accompanying Spouse/Children

Candidates who have the highest scores in the Quebec points calculator are selected in the subsequent Quebec draw. 80% of applications under the Quebec Arrima are processed within 8 to 12 months.
