Saskatchewan invites Occupation in-demand and Express Entry candidates

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) conducted a new Expression of Interest (EOI) draw on April 20, 2023 - issuing invitations to a total of 1,067 immigrants across two categories: Express Entry and Occupation In-demand.

This is the first draw held by Saskatchewan PNP in the month of April - and the third of the year. Where the number of invitations issued in this draw nearly doubled from the previous Saskatchewan PNP draw – the minimum score required dropped by 13 points.

Who was invited?

Express Entry

623 invitations were issued from the Express Entry stream with specific NOC codes, with a minimum score of 69. Invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessment (ECA). Not all occupations were selected.

Occupation in-demand

444 invitations were issued from the Occupation in-demand stream with specific NOC codes, with a minimum score of 69. Invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessment (ECA). Not all occupations were selected.

Which occupations were invited?

The occupations eligible for the EOI selection in this SINP draw for both Express Entry and Occupation in-demand candidates have the following NOC codes:

20012 - Computer and information systems managers
21203 - Land surveyors
21211 - Data scientists
21220 - Cyber Security specialists
21221 - Business systems specialists
21222 - Information systems specialists

21231 - Software engineers and designers
21232 - Software developers and programmers

Candidates that have received an invitation to either the Express Entry or Occupation in-demand streams – will now have 60 days to submit a complete online application to the SINP and provide the supporting documents. They will also be required to pay a non-refundable application processing fee of CAD$ 350. 

SINP issues ITAs to eligible candidates on a monthly basis, with some exceptions. The frequency, size, and date of the Saskatchewan PNP next draw prediction - are determined by the needs of the SINP application inventory.
