How does the Saskatchewan PNP draw work?
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) uses a points-based Expression of Interest (EOI) system to select candidates for immigration. Candidates interested in immigrating to Saskatchewan through the SINP must first submit an EOI. This form assesses factors like age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and connections to Saskatchewan. Candidates are given a score out of 110 based on these factors.
To be eligible, candidates need to score a minimum of 60 points.
SINP regularly holds draws to invite candidates to apply for provincial nomination. During each draw, the program selects candidates with the highest scores, but cut-off scores can vary with each round. Candidates with connections to Saskatchewan or specific work experience in high-demand occupations may have an advantage. If a candidate is selected, they receive an Invitation to Apply for the provincial nomination.
Once nominated, candidates can apply for Canada PR through the federal system, such as Express Entry or other streams.
