The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has conducted a new draw under its Skills Immigration category. Candidates with work experience in Tech, Childcare, and Healthcare occupations were targeted in this draw.
This was the third Skills Immigration draw conducted by BC PNP in September.

The latest BC PNP draw held on September 19, 2023, saw invitations being issued to a total of 225 candidates with minimum scores ranging between 60 and 111.
British Columbia issues ITAs to eligible candidates on a weekly basis, with some exceptions. The frequency, size, and date of the upcoming BC PNP draw - are all determined by the needs of British Columbia’s application inventory at the time of the invitation round.
Category 1: General Draw
Category 2: Childcare: Early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202)
Category 3: Healthcare
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) plays a pivotal role in helping support & sustain the province’s economy.
There are two streams that are currently being managed by the BC PNP:
General Eligibility

International Graduate | Recent graduates with a degree or diploma from a Canadian college or university. | NOC TEER 1, 2, and 3. NOC TEER 0 (management occupations) are not eligible under this stream. | YES |
International Post-Graduate | Recent graduates with an eligible master’s or doctoral degree from a B.C. university. Ph.D. candidates in B.C. may also be eligible. | N/A - This stream does not require a job offer. | YES |
Entry Level and Semi-Skilled | Workers in tourism/hospitality, and food processing. | Select occupations in NOC TEER 4 and 5. | NO |
Candidates are ranked & evaluated based on the points achieved under the BC PNP points calculator. Points are assigned based on factors such as Age, Education, Work Experience, Language Proficiency, Adaptability, and Spousal Sponsorship.
Candidates with the highest scores are issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to the BC PNP.
It's important to note that the BC PNP is a highly competitive program, and meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee that you will receive a nomination. Therefore, it's essential to ensure that your application is as strong as possible by providing all the required documentation and presenting your qualifications and experience in the best possible light.
