Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a new Express Entry draw. This was the third invitation round conducted by the department in February.
If you have been invited to this latest Express Entry draw, you will have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR) to the IRCC. If this timeframe passes, your Invitation to Apply (ITA) will no longer be valid.
The latest Express Entry draw was held on February 17, 2025. ITAs were issued to 646 candidates across a PNP-specific draw. Invited candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 646 to be eligible for an invitation.

If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
Express Entry PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) draws allow Canadian provinces to select skilled workers from the Express Entry pool. Each province has its own criteria and invites candidates who meet their labour market needs. If you receive a PNP nomination, you get an extra 600 points in the Express Entry Program, which almost guarantees an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence. These draws happen regularly, and the cut-off score varies.
This was the third Express Entry PNP draw conducted by IRCC in 2025. Last year, the department conducted 14 PNP-specific draws. In total, 52 Express Entry draws were conducted - which invited 98,903 candidates to apply for Canada PR.
This was the sixth Express Entry draw conducted by IRCC in 2025. Including the latest Express Entry draw, the department has so far issued ITAs to 10,922 candidates.

If you were not invited in the latest Express Entry draw, your profile will remain active in the Express Entry pool for 12 months from the submission date. Do not withdraw your application, you may receive an ITA in the next Express Entry draw.
Express Entry draws are held once every two weeks. However, draws under the Express Entry Program have had a very unusual pattern throughout 2024 and both in January and February of 2025. This has made it difficult to predict when the next Express Entry draw will be held.
Currently, 80% of applications under the Express Entry are being processed within 8 to 10 months.
